Liberator as a least cost router has the ability to
dynamically add a pre-fix to the out-going number (depending upon number
dialled) so the call is routed through the main incumbent Carrier’s
network to a second Carrier.
The least cost routing pre-fix can be added depending upon number dialled
and upon the time-of-day. More than one prefix can be used. Customers benefit
from a lower-cost second Carrier without users having to remember to dial
the prefix, without a PABX upgrade or reconfiguration and with the ability
to change the routing automatically depending upon the time of day and Carriers’ call
charging structure. Statistics and call information is available.
Fast and
easy to install.
The diagram also shows the optional ability of Liberator to “drop” BRI
interfaces for other applications. Liberator can also least
cost route between
two locally-connected Carriers.
