Least cost routing and using two carriers to improve resilience and reduce costs is popular. Selecting one carrier for say, international calls, to reduce costs is a typical requirement of many users. Not all PABXs support the level of flexibility required and they are certainly complicated and/or expensive to configure and reconfigure than Liberator as a least cost router.

• Liberator will generate Alarms and also present detailed call records
• The unit can “translate” in-coming calls and present a different dialled number to the PABX
  - Staff/departments can keep their DDI numbers but move
  - telephone. Liberator will translate the dialled number to the
  - correct extension number
  - Gives easy migration
  - No changes needed to the PABX
